About This Trail
Namsan sits at the geographic heart of Seoul, its summit crowned by N Seoul Tower and its slopes ringed by the Hanyangdoseong β the great Joseon-era city wall that once enclosed the capital. The Namsan Circular Trail winds around the mountain without requiring a strenuous climb to the top, making it the most accessible green escape in central Seoul.
The path is wide, gently graded, and well-lit, suitable for pushchairs and relaxed walkers alike. Cherry blossoms line the route in spring, maples turn deep red in autumn, and the city views from the ridge are impressive in any season.
